The project specific objectives were the regulation and development of the public transport sector, provision of an efficient, safe land (road and rail) network, provision of efficient and competitive aerial, land and sea transportation, improvement of road safety and reduction of accidents, rehabilitation, construction and regulation of international crossings, as well as inland clearance and logistics centers.
